Deze processor is zeer schaars verkrijgbaar, omdat deze eigenlijk alleen voor OEM fabrikanten van hele computers gebruikt wordt.. Dit is de nieuwste processorreeks, met een KUMA kern, en niet meer de familie K8, maar K10... Grootste verandering is de toevoeging van een L3 cache van maar liefst 2mb... De 4400+ uit de K8 serie heeft nog 2x512 kb = 1 mb totale cache, de 7450 heeft behalve de 2x512kb ook nog eens 2mb L3 cache, dus in totaal 3mb cache.... Cache geheugen is het allereerste geheugen dat gebruikt wordt om instructies te verwerken... Resultaat is een processor met 2 x 2,4 ghz kloksnelheid die gelijk presteert aan de oudere K8 versie X2 5000+! U ziet hieronder ook dat de Intel Pentium Dual Core 2 x 3,73 ghz met gemak wordt verslagen door de AMD 7450!
