Voordelige bundel met een razend knappe koele processor: de AMD Geode, die grotendeels lijkt op de Athlon Mobile! Wij hebben hem in een bundel met het bekende 811 moederbord van PCchips: de Geode NX 1750, productcode ANXS1750FXC3M. Met een kleine koeler incl. noisekiller. Processor wordt aangegeven als AMD Athlon 1400 mhz. De prijs? Tijdelijk maar 35 euro bij Computerstunt.nl... geen geld voor een zuinige oplossing met een full size ATX board! Plus: geen extra 4 pins voedingskabel nodig, dus u kunt ook een wat oudere voeding gebruiken!
NB: op dit bord zit een speciale bios, die de geode ondersteunt, echter niet op 1,25 maar op 1,4 / 1,45 volt, het voltage van een mobile processor, daardoor is deze bundel iets minder zuinig dan zou kunnen. Wilt u een bundel die op 1,25 volt draait kiest u dan voor de bundel met Asrock K7S41GX moederbord.
